Objectives of the Department:
To promote higher education through Botany department, to educate community for extension programme, to enforce students for betterment of the society, to support research and extension in collaboration with National and International Organizations, Scientific approach and management and educate the 1st generation learners.
Special Achievement of the Department:
Students achieved many prestigious prize and certificates from District Magistrate and from State authority in connection with Science Fair and Youth Programme in the year 2018 and 2019. Two Minor Research Projects have been Completed (UGC) by the Faculty Member.
Seminar/Webinar Organized:
Biodiversity Board Sponsored 2 seminars, 2 other Seminars on Botany, One 3-Day training workshop, One 3-Day National Conference on Biodiversity Conservation (NCBC) by Virtual Platform along with Botany Dept., Seva Bharati Mahavidyalaya, Kapgari, Jhargram in collaboration with Drishticon Organization (From 28 to 30 July, 2021).
